Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch represented King Mohammed VI in Doha in offering condolences following the passing of Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
During an audience at the Lusail Palace,Akhannouch conveyed the King’s condolences to the Emir of Qatar,Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani,following the passing of his father,Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
During the audience,he presented to the Qatari ruler a message of condolence and compassion from the Monarch.
The Emir of Qatar expressed his gratitude to King Mohammed VI and his pride in the personal ties that bind him to his brother the King,as well as in the strong relations between the two brotherly countries.
In a message of condolences addressed earlier to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani,the King stated that He had learned with immense sorrow and deep regret the painful news of the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani,and prayed the Almighty to surround him with his holy mercy and welcome him into his vast paradise.
The King expressed to the Qatari ruler,and through him,to his illustrious princely family as well as to the brotherly Qatari people,his deepest condolences and sincere compassion following this cruel loss.
