Geordin Hill-Lewis to face Sibusiso Dyonase for the position of DA leader

A challenger has emerged in the race for the DA leadership post,changing the situation for City of Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis,who was previously unopposed.

Sibusiso Dyonase,a caucus leader in Sedibeng,has put up his hand for the post.

The DA announced the list of candidates on Tuesday after nominations closed on Monday.

The party’s congress is set to take place at Gallagher Estate in Midrand next month.
