Defense Industry: Baykar Starts Recruiting for its Drone Factory in Morocco

for its Moroccan plant expected to produce military drones for the Royal Armed Forces and for African market.

The company is currently seeking Moroccan specialists in electronics,mechanics,aircraft paint & structure as well as UAV test pilots. The Moroccan drone plant has been built in Benslimane,Casablanca suburbs,near a military airbase.

The facility will focus on the design,manufacturing,and maintenance (MRO) of next-generation unmanned aerial systems (UAVs). It will also develop drones adapted to the specific needs of Moroccan forces.

It is part of Morocco’s strategy seeking to develop a defense industry in cooperation with international partners to reduce dependence on foreign weapons purchases and strengthen its military capabilities to counter threats to its national security.

The kingdom is enhancing its defence partnerships with major powers including the United States,France,India,China,Spain…,while attracting a growing investment to its defense industry ecosystem which is gaining momentum.
