Three London railway stations are rammed with thousands of people this evening after signal failures caused delays and cancellations.
A fault with the signalling system at Clapham Junction has disrupted several lines that run into London Waterloo,National Rail says.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day,with trains coming to and from Waterloo not stopping at certain stations.
One commuter on X: ‘Utter shambles at London Waterloo tonight.’
Departure boards at show dozens of trains in the coming hours as delayed,some by as much as 60 minutes.
South Western Railway says tickets can be refunded,used tomorrow or used today for certain bus services.

Services between Waterloo to Shepperton will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Fulwell,calling at Twickenham and Strawberry Hill.
All services from Waterloo to Wimbledon will not call at Vauxhall and Earlsfield.
Services from Wimbledon to Waterloo will also not stop at Clapham Junction.
Liverpool Street,a major east London travel hub,has also been paralysed.
Greater Anglia trains,as well as Stansted Express and London Underground services,are running an hour behind schedule.
Engineers are repairing a fault with a signal system in Clapton,National Rail says.
