Morocco has seen a remarkable surge in tourism since the pandemic, with total international arrivals reaching a record 17.4 million in 2024,a 20% increase from 14.5 million in 2023.
The UK has emerged as one of the top source markets, driven by expanded flight routes (e.g.,Jet2’s 17 weekly winter flights from 14 UK airports),affordable packages, and Morocco’s appeal as a winter sun and cultural escape. British visitors now rank third or fourth among nationalities, behind France and Spain.
The first half of 2025 (January-June) recorded 8.9 million total tourists,a 19% rise from H1 2024,showing a strong momentum. UK arrivals are projected to exceed 1 million for the full year, building on 2024’s record.
