Morocco-Niger military cooperation reviewed in Rabat

Military cooperation between Morocco and Niger that covers a range of activities,including training,operational readiness of the forces,military healthcare,and the exchange of visits and expertise,was reviewed at a meeting in Rabat Tuesday between Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone,Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid,and Chief of Staff of the Niger Armed Forces,Major General Moussa Salaou Barmou.

Talks between Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid and Major General Moussa Salaou Barmou,who is on a working visit to the Kingdom September 21 through 27at the head of a senior military delegation,focused on military cooperation between the two countries.

The two officials praised the exceptional quality of relations between the two countries’ armed forces based on strong fraternal ties and outlined that military cooperation is marked by mutual respect,the FAR General Staff said in a statement.
