Singer D4vd appeared on stage during a concert in Minneapolis on Tuesday,amid an ongoing police investigation into a decomposing body that was found in his impounded Tesla.
Earlier this week,police were called to an impound lot in LA following reports of a ‘foul odour coming from a vehicle’,the force said in a statement.
Officers on the scene found possible human remains and have subsequently launched a death investigation – which the 20-year-old is said to be fully cooperating with.
Hours after the inquiry was launched,Rolling Stone reports that D4vd,real name David Anthony Burke,performed at the Fillmore in Minneapolis last night,for a planned stop on his Withered world tour.
In videos making the rounds on social media,he could be seen on stage and throwing Labubus into the crowd while concert-goers sang back to him.
He is next scheduled to be performing in Kansas this evening,with more stops set for Portland and Seattle.
His tour is due to end in LA on September 20.

According to a report from the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office,the body of a woman was found in a ‘severely decomposed’ state in a Tesla on Monday – and appeared ‘to have been deceased inside the vehicle for an extended period of time’ before she was found.
They were unable to determine her age or ethnicity,but shared that she was discovered wearing a tube top and black leggings – and that she had wavy black hair.
The report also added that she had a distinctive ‘Shhh’ tattoo on her right index finger.

Los Angeles Police Captain Robert Peters said the Tesla had been held at the lot for a few days.
According to reports,the vehicle was reportedly towed and impounded after it had been abandoned on a street in the neighbourhood.
Video from the impound lot showed yellow police tape surrounding the car,which is registered to charting singer D4vd – pronounced David.
Officers are said to have found the remains in a bag in the trunk of the Tesla at Hollywood Tow,NBC Los Angeles reported.

The publication reported that the remains were not intact and that identification would be delayed on account of the decomposition.
They have also said that he was cooperating with the police investigation.
A police spokesperson told the news organisation that he ‘has been informed about what’s happened,and although he is still out on tour,he is fully cooperating with the authorities.’
Meanwhile,a law enforcement source has shared gruesome details with TMZ that the body was found ‘chopped up’ and ‘heavily decomposed’,with the exact cause of death to be determined by a medical examiner.
The 2023 Tesla is registered to the star in Hempstead,Texas,ABC News has reported.

Following the news,Crocs and Hollister issued a joint statement confirming that D4vd had been dropped from their Dream Drop campaign,which was released on September 3.
‘We are aware of this developing story,’ the message,via Footwear News,read. ‘With respect to the current situation,we have removed campaign content featuring D4vd while the investigation continues.’
While the pictures of the singer are no longer visible,the remaining collection and imagery is still available online.

D4vd rose to prominence largely thanks to his TikTok presence,where he has 3.6million followers.
Before he became a star in his own right,he was the opening act for SZA’s tour. He now boasts 33m monthly listeners on Spotify.
He has become best known for songs including Here with Me and Romantic Homicide,both of which he performed at his debut Coachella set in April.
The musician has continued to post to his social media accounts this week,although comments on Instagram posts have been restricted,and shared a preview of his new song set for release on September 19.
