Rabat & Dakar reaffirm commitment to strengthening strategic partnership

Moroccan foreign minister Nasser Bourita held on Monday a telephone conversation with Senegal’s new Minister of foreign affairs Cheikh Niang on bilateral relationship which are based on genuine and longstanding friendship,shared history,values and interests.

Bourita has congratulated Mr. Diang on his nomination to the post and wished him success in his new mission.

The two ministers voiced determination and commitment to work together to advance the strategic partnership in line with the directives of King Mohammed VI and President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

Morocco is a major economic player in Senegal,with significant investment in key sectors including finance,agriculture,construction and infrastructure,telecommunications,and pharmaceuticals.
