A 12-year-old boy who died after falling from some playground equipment at a park in Cheshire has been pictured for the first time.

Logan Carter was declared dead at the scene at Wharton Recreation Ground near Ledward Street in Winsford on Friday evening.

Police are now investigating the tragedy,having been called in by the North West Ambulance Service.

His father,Rob,wrote online: ‘All I can say to people is hold your kids and tell them every day how much you love them because you never know when they will be gone.

‘When I woke up on Friday,my little mate,I didn’t think that would be the last time I get to see you. My mate,my heart has been ripped in two. I will never forget you,my mate. Sleep tight up there.
