According to latest figures published by the Department for Business & Trade, this growth is largely driven by Moroccan exports which amounted to £2.7 billion ($3.5 billion). Fruits and vegetables remain the main Moroccan exported products followed by electrical equipment, furniture, and textiles.

Services also contribute to this dynamic, with a booming tourism sector. British visitors generated £823 million in revenues for Morocco over this period.

UK trading with Morocco increased due to business-friendly environment, efficient logistics and a shared desire to deepen bilateral cooperation.

Morocco and UK maintain strong economic cooperation ties based on the Association agreement, which facilitates trade through preferential rates, tariff quotas and clearly defined rules of origin.
