Manhunt on for naked dog walker traumatising village

Villagers have been averting their eyes after a man was spotted repeatedly walking around with his dog – in the buff.

Police are looking for sightings of the nude rambler who has been strolling through Bentley Wood in Winterslow,Wiltshire completely starkers.

Salisbury Police posted an appeal on Facebook and unsurprisingly,it has raised a lot of eyebrows.

The force said: ‘We are appreciative of the reach and attention this post is getting… we do,of course,mean the man was reportedly naked,not the dog.

‘If you have witnessed any incidents like this,we would be grateful if you could get in touch to allow us to progress the investigation.’

Start your day informed with Metro's News Updates newsletter or get Breaking News alerts the moment it happens.Police said anyone who has seen the naked man should call 101.Last year,another nude dog walker visited a Nottingham park so much he got a reputation as a ‘tourist attraction’.The middle-aged man was sighted on numerous occasions by bemused visitors to Colwick Woods strolling around the nature reserve.At the end of last month,a man walked through Newcastle town centre starkers.Onlookers were left stunned after spotting the fully-naked man,who wasn’t even wearing shoes,on the High Street.He casually walked past shoppers near the Guild Hall,before further footage showed him sprinting across a roundabout.Back during the time of lockdown,a naked man was seen strutting through London.People out for their daily exercise were left flabbergasted when the nude man wandered towards Bloomsbury Square Gardens ‘completely unphased’ by stares.He was spotted running at speed by the British Museum and police never managed to find him.
