Man in 60s raped in the street with suspect, 32, arrested

A man in his 60s was allegedly raped outside of a church in the early hours of the morning.

Police were called to Station Road in Harrow,north west London,on Wednesday.

Bruke Desalagne,32,has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and rape.

The Metropolitan Police said: ‘Bruke Desalagne,of no fixed address has been charged with rape on Wednesday,July 23.

‘He was set to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday,July 24).

‘Officers were called at 00.49hrs on Wednesday,23 July to reports of a sexual assault on Station Road,Harrow.

‘The victim,a man in his 60s,is being supported by specialist officers.

‘Mr Desalagne was arrested at the scene on suspicion of sexual assault and charged as above.’
