A third wave of Poundland store closures have been announced in the wake of the retailer’s sale for £1 in a bargain-bin rescue deal.
A total of 32 branches are set to be shuttered next month as part of a restructuring plan which will axe a total of 68.
Bosses previously a list of 10 stores to be closed on August 10,and 15 to be closed on August 15.
A further 12 will be closed on August 24 in locations all around the UK.
Three have already closed: the Swiss Cottage branch, which shut its doors in April 2024,while the branches in the London borough of Chisiwck and Southampton West Quay closed in May and June this year.
Poundland plans to stop selling products on their website, instead choosing to provide more womenswear and seasonal ranges in-store.
These plans are dependent on the green light from the High Court in August.
