Oracle inaugurates AI & Cloud Computing Center in Casablanca, speeding up Morocco’s digital transition

American Oracle Company,a global leader in computer technology,inaugurated on Tuesday a state-of-the-art Research and Development (R&D) center in Casablanca,Morocco,focusing on artificial intelligence (AI),cloud computing,cybersecurity,and graph processing.

The inauguration ceremony,chaired by Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch,was attended by Minister of Digital Transition Ghita Mezzour,Oracle’s Vice Pdt. Craig Stephen and several other personalities.

The 7-storey facility employs currently 300 young Moroccan engineers,developers,and technicians,with plans to reach 1,000 highly skilled employees by 2027.

The Oracle center in Casablanca is expected to deliver impactful new AI capabilities,and accelerate development of IT solutions that will enable Oracle global customers grow their businesses and win in their industries.

At this cutting-edge facility,young Moroccans will be designing and developing innovative solutions,covering the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence,big data,cloud computing and cybersecurity.

These solutions will be deployed on a global scale,strengthening Morocco’s positioning as a regional digital hub.
