Five teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in Stockton.

Officers found a 49-year-old man dead at an address on Egglescliffe Close just before 7pm on Saturday night.

A 19-year-old man,two 18-year-old men and two 17-year-old boys were arrested overnight on suspicion of murder,Cleveland Police said.

The force said they were aware of footage relating to the incident circulating on social media sites.

They urged: ‘Please do not share this footage any further,as this could impact on legal proceedings.’
