Detectives believe that a teenage mother to a young baby was fatally run over by a truck.

Lily Whitehouse,19,was found with multiple fatal injuries in Park Street,Oldbury,at around 9.50pm on Wednesday.

The mother of a young baby was sadly pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Mohammed Azim,41,remains in police custody ahead of a plea and trial preparation hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on December 16.

Police released an image of a white recovery truck appearing to drive along a thin pavement with its headlights on.
