A gunman is on the loose after a teenager was shot outside a nightclub by Wembley Stadium.

The 18-year-old man is fighting for life in hospital after he was struck by bullets by a bar in Atlantic Way at 5.30am on Sunday.

Forensics officers have been examining the scene,sealing off huge areas surrounding the iconic stadium in north West London.

Chf Supt Tony Josephs said: ‘We recognise the shock and impact this incident will have on the community.

‘The investigation is in its very early stages and we are working at pace to establish the full circumstances.
