A British woman found dead after going missing on holiday in Greece died as a result of drowning.
Michele Bourda,59,vanished from Ofrinio beach, near the city of Kavala, hours after she was seen enjoying pancakes with her husband Chris,66.
He said that he fell asleep on August 1 on a sun lounger, and when he woke up,his wife was gone.
Her remains were spotted earlier this month by a passing yacht,25 miles away near the tiny island of Fidonisi.
The body, which had no head and had partly been eaten by fish, was so badly decomposed that she could only be recognised by her swimming costume and scars from a chest operation.

I told them that from the start, and they weren’t able to find her.‘It’s impossible. Nobody did anything to help. Even the chap who saw her in the sea,he lost sight of her.
