boy, 16, stabbed to death and second of the same age arrested for murder

A 16-year-old boy has been stabbed to death at an East Sussex railway station.

The incident happened at Seaford at around 5pm today,a little while after school had finished.

People from the Steamworks pub,right opposite the station,rushed to help the victim,who was ‘not in a good way’,it is understood.

When Sussex Police and paramedics arrived,the boy was discovered with a serious injury,consistent with being stabbed.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics,he was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
