An angry woman screamed at fellow holidaymakers, accusing them of having ‘stolen’ her sunbed.

The furious argument was filmed poolside at a resort in Tenerife,Spain.

The woman, wearing a red top and dark shorts,is seen in the clip pointing fingers and confronting a group of tourists who had taken her supposedly reserved spot.

She then appears to round on another holidaymaker enjoying a dip in the pool.

So-called sunbed wars are a feature at holiday hotels and resorts in sun spots across the world.

With loungers often outnumbered by guests,a bun fight ensues for the best spots by the pool.

Holidaymakers often use towels to reserve sunbeds, with some even waking up at early hours to bag their favourite spot.

It comes as research found that people from the West Midlands were most likely to admit to having reserved sun loungers while abroad.

Meanwhile those from the West Country and Yorkshire and the Humber were the best behaved, with just eight per cent fessed up to being a bed hogger.

Metro previously declared the beginning of 2025’s sunbed wars back in May,after an altercation at a resort in Lanzarote came with the battle cry ‘you picked on the wrong person’ and threats of calling the manager.

The fight was captured at the Hyde Park Lane hotel, which has a policy of against lounge reserving.

Sunbed arguments have become such an issue, that a Greek beaches have even deployed drones to spy on people attempting to grab a spot before leaving it for hours.

Around 350,000€ of fines for spot hogging were dished out within five days, the Greek government confirmed.
