Three men have been arrested on suspicion of sexual offences,including rape,after reports of a teenage girl being assaulted at a park in south-west London.
Police were called at just 7.13 am yesterday to Fishponds Park,Surbiton.
Officers established a crime scene at the park,and forensic searches continue.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and administering a substance withtheintent to commit and sexual offence.
A 35-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were arrested,each on suspicion of rape,sexual assault,and administering a substance with intent to commit a sexual offence.
A 41-year-old was arrested on suspicion of rape.
Three of those men have now been charged,and the teenage girl was being supported by specialist officers.
A Met spokesperson said: ‘We understand this news is concerning for the community and we will be increasing patrols in the area.’
The force asked those with information to get in contact with police.
